Lennar Homes — Coming to Veridea East Village

Lennar is planning a major new residential community on 258 acres on the easter side of Veridea, near US 1 and I-540. The homebuilder plans to construct 327 single-family homes and 750 townhomes alongside future multifamily housing and retail. The first homes are anticipated in mid-2028 with the full community completed by 2032. The neighborhood will feature a range of amenities, including a pool, playground, fitness center, clubhouse, and community gathering spaces.
IndiFresh Supermarket — Coming Soon

We told you about Glenn Square in our last issue. We’ve since learned that the anchor store will be IndiFresh Supermarket, a 17,500-square-foot specialty grocery store. The store will feature a restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating, a bakery, beer cave, and ice cream station, and is expected to employ up to 50 people. Pending final approvals, construction could begin this fall with completion expected in 2027.

The Local Apex is moving into the space that was once Vicious Fishes. They will offer coffee, soda (and dirty sodas), beer, seltzer, and wine as well as lunch and dinner food trucks every day. They have a large outdoor area and welcome friendly pets. Live music is also part of the plan.
