Peak City Diner – Coming Soon
If you’ve been around the Triangle for a while, you’ll remember Gypsy’s Shiny Diner (later renamed to The Shiny Diner). Well, the owners of that establishment are opening Peak City Diner in the shopping center at Perry Road and Highway 55. Neat & Sweet – Coming Soon
The owners of Scratch Kitchen & Taproom are getting ready to open Neat & Sweet right next door. Neat & Sweet will be a cocktail and dessert lounge offering fondue, crepes, and creative cocktails.
Bee Sweet Creamery – Coming Soon
Bee Sweet Creamery is “bringing sweetness to Apex” in June 2023! The owners of Mama Bird’s in Holly Springs are opening a soft-serve ice cream shop at 76 Hunter Street across from the Town Hall campus. Bee Sweet Creamery will feature rotating flavors (some vegan) served in a bowl or freshly baked waffle cone with an assortment of toppings available (including buckeyes…if you know, you know). Fernweh Salon – Now Open
“Fernweh” means “the longing of a place never seen, or wanderlust” according to the website for this new hair salon located at 76 Hunter Street, Suite 108, across from the Town Hall Campus. As of April, one portion of the Sweetwater retail area has leases signed for Harris Teeter, Fifth Third Bank, Duke Health, Southern Peak Brewery, Fratellis Deli, Club Pilates, Restore Hyper Wellness, Sushi Yaki and Royal Nail Spa & Lounge.
