Historic Downtown Apex is once again twinkling with festive spirit, making it the perfect backdrop for celebrating the season’s best and making lasting memories. There are plenty of merrymaking activities for everyone in the family and we have a great way to keep track of every stop—the Snowman Stroll on Salem! All you need is a Snowman Stroll Passport and some holiday spirit!
Here’s how it works. On December 6, pick up your Snowman Stroll Passport at the Apex Depot/Welcome Center (220 N. Salem Street), at a booth at the Apex Tree Lighting, or at one of the downtown businesses specially marked as Snowman Stops. If you miss the fun on December 6, attend the Apex Rotary Pancake Breakfast on December 7 and ask for a passport at the Gingerbread Lane booth.
With passport in hand, let the fun begin!
Between December 6 and December 15, get a stamp in your Snowman Stroll Passport every time you visit a participating business or engage in a snowman- or winter-themed activity along the way. You’ll be filled with holiday spirit, and you could also win a prize! That’s right—submit your completed passport by Monday, December 16 for a chance to win some great prizes. For every six stamps in your passport, you earn one raffle ticket.
Ready to get going? Here are Snowman Stroll stops to put on your list:
