Latino Arts and Culinary Festival
Saturday, June 4 | 3 p.m. – 10 p.m.
The Depot Plaza, 220 N. Salem Street
The Apex Latino Arts and Culinary Festival highlights the culture and art of our local Latino community and provides an opportunity to foster connections across cultures. The festival features art activities in The Halle Cultural Arts Center (237 N. Salem Street) from 3 – 6 p.m. From 6 – 10 p.m., activities move out onto Salem Street and The Depot parking lot, creating a street fair with culinary arts, an artisan craft bazaar, music, and dancing. Apex Pride Festival

Juneteenth Festival

Juneteenth (Freedom Day) is celebrated across the country to commemorate the end of slavery in the United States. The Juneteenth Festival celebrates this important day in history and promotes equity, respect, and understanding between people of all backgrounds and cultures. Apex Parks Plan Update—Public Open House
Wednesday, June 22 | 6 p.m. – 8 p.m.
Apex Senior Center, 63 Hunter Street
The Open House event will feature a presentation of results from all recent public engagement efforts for the Apex Parks Plan Update. Community members will also be able to provide further input about the next steps of the plan, visioning, and more to guide our final recommendations for parks, greenways, and recreational and cultural programming over the next ten years. Vision Zero “Safety Town”
Saturday, June 25 | 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Apex Town Campus, 73 Hunter Street
This kickoff event will launch our Vision Zero Action Plan and promote traffic safety in Apex! The event will feature police-provided vehicles and activities like the DWI Simulator and BATmobile, and information and giveaways focused on Bike Apex and Vision Zero. A “traffic garden” will help kids gain bicycle and pedestrian traffic safety skills through a small-scale network of connected streets with scaled-down traffic features. NEW FOR 2022—Fireworks Frenzy

Hunter Street Park, 1250 Ambergate Station

Olde Fashioned Fourth of July

Historic Downtown Apex, Salem Street
The highlight of this annual event is the Parade of Wheels when kids ride their decorated bikes, wagons, tricycles, or other non-motorized vehicles through downtown. Peak City Pig Fest
