Now in its fourth year, the annual Apex Sculpture Walk has become a signature public art display throughout downtown Apex. The 2024-25 Sculpture Walk features 11 sculptures installed from Hunter Street Park, through Apex Town Campus, and into downtown Apex.
Presented and selected by the Apex Public Art Committee, the Sculpture Walk artists were chosen from more than 20 submissions. While submissions came in from across the United States, selected artists are located along the East Coast, with the majority nestled in North Carolina. The closest artist is Cary-based Phil Hathcock and the furthest is Athens, Georgia-based Joni Younkins-Herzog. Artists spent the week of April 15 installing their works from Hunter Street Park (1250 Ambergate Station) to the Professional Center in downtown Apex (315 S. Salem Street).
The Apex Sculpture Walk spans just over a mile on the designate map path, creating the perfect opportunity to get out and see all that downtown Apex has to offer!
